Game Re-schedules

We understand things come up unexpectedly, please let us know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule a game. Each league has different rules and deadlines regarding games being rescheduled so please reach out right away to avoid a fine and/or forfeit.

Please note GCF does have a 10-day Rule "With the exception of the first week of a season, the initial request for reschedules for reasons other than previously stated (FYSA Cup's and weather) must be made to the opposing club via email AT LEAST 10 DAYS PRIOR TO A GAME. All reasonable requests made 10 days or more prior should be considered and granted if a sufficient open date for both teams is available before the conclusion of league play. If a request is made less than 10 days prior to a match, clubs are still allowed to agree to a reschedule, but the club receiving the request IS NOT obligated to grant the request."

Please contact your Director of Coaching for any game reschedule requests.

Safety

SafeSport -  all FYSA registered coaches and staff members are required to be “SafeSport Trained” by the time of their next background screening. This process started on July 1, 2018 and will continue for the immediate future. We also recommend others in your club/organization who may not be required to register with FYSA become SafeSport Trained. The course is free for all FYSA members. Those who previously became SafeSport Trained will not be required to take the course again, however, they will be required to complete a “Refresher Course.” If you have any questions, please contact the state office at 863-268-8220 The link to the course can be found within your coach account on www.gotsoccer.com

CDC Heads Up - All coaches are required to take the CDC Heads Up Concussion Course before they can receive their coaching pass. This course takes about 30 minutes to complete. The link to the course can be found within your coach account on www.gotsoccer.com

Background Check - All coaches are required to complete a background check every year. The link to the course can be found within your coach account on www.gotsoccer.com
